Q: What does the Gin Experience involve?
A: A Whitehall Distillery experience is an opportunity for you to learn about distilling & make your own unique bottle of gin. You will learn about what goes into making our gins, & then have the opportunity to select your own botanicals and distill your own bottle of gin to take away. You will also enjoy a gin paired food platter and 2 double gin & tonics each
Q: How long does the experience last?
A: Each session will last approximately 2.5 hours with Cromwell's bar open before and after each session.
Q: What dates & times are the experiences available?
A: Our experiences are held on Friday & Saturday evenings starting at 7pm, we also run a Sunday afternoon session at 2pm. Private events can be arranged upon request.
Q: Is food provided on the experience?
A: Yes - we serve a selection of foods which have been carefully selected to pair with the gin you will enjoy on the evening - please note that dietary requests/allergy information must be provided in advance.
Q: Can I bring extra guests?
A: You can bring an extra guests to the experience for an additional cost of £30 per guest - additional guests will receive the 3 drinks included & the sharing platter of food
Q: What are the restrictions for the experience?
A: All guests attending must be 18 years old - if you are lucky enough to look younger than you may be asked to provide ID, any guests behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave and no refund will be made
Q: How do I book?
A: To book a spot at one of our sessions you will need to call 01254 701595, as space is strictly limited you will be required to pay the balance in full on booking or if you have a voucher the number will be recorded.
Q: What if I need to re-arrange or cancel a booking?
A: We operate a strict 14 day cancellation policy, should you wish to cancel or reschedule we require the request to be made via email to email@example.com, any requests to reschedule at less than 14 days notice will not be possible and no refund will be offered.
If we take the step to cancel a Gin Experience through no fault of yours then we shall notify you in writing in the form of an email to the email address provided upon order, and issue a refund in full to the payment card used for the booking, excluding any booking fees if applicable.
Q: Can I buy vouchers as a gift?
A: Yes - vouchers are available from our online store and from reception of The Whitehall Hotel & Distillery, all vouchers are valid for 6 months & extensions to the expiry date are not permitted. Vouchers must be presented on the evening of the experience prior to commencing the experience.
